The date was April 24^th, the location was Main Street and for scores of Memphis zombies it was the dawn of a new era of hope.
 
At last, the undead denizens of the mid-south had found what they had longed for even more than fresh brain tissue:
 
A man. An exceptionally extraordinary man.
 
One so brave he didn’t fear their hunger, one so brilliant he could even cure their curse.
 
That man of course was myself, Doctor Harold Toboggans – therapist, genius, all around gift to humanity.
 
The zombies of Memphis didn’t stand a chance.
